This is the third year for the Caldwell Farmers’ Market and it is bigger and better than ever with the first market to begin on Wednesday, May 14th, with new hours from 5-8 P.M. at the same location as last year on the corner of 12th and Dearborn next to the Caldwell Public Library. Look for the yellow and green signs in downtown Caldwell. The market will run from May 14th through September 30th. Watch the Idaho Press Tribune's Wednesday paper every week for for the "Recipe of the Week" and the market's "Vendor of the Week".
Cinco de Mayo: Annually, at the park adjacent to the rodeo arena. Contact the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce for info on the upcoming year's celebration.

Casino Night: Annually, in the fall, locations and dates may vary. The 2008 event is slated for October 3, 7 p.m., at Caldwell's Center for the Arts. Contact the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce for more information.
This is a new annual event begun in 2007 for the purpose of providing a fun way to promote Chamber businesses, raise money for the Chamber, and just have a grand old time! This very popular event features Black Jack tables, Craps, Texas Hold 'em, Roulette, and both live and silent auctions. Contact the Chamber Office, 459-7493.
Treasure Valley Night Light Parade: Annually, in December, of course! This year, it's December 6th. Downtown Caldwell.
2008 Theme: Christmas Through a Child's Eyes
The Caldwell Fire Department hosts an open house where kids can come visit with Santa. The evening includes lighting the Christmas Tree and caroling, and vendors set up along the route of the parade which launches from the O'Connor Field House at 6 p.m.
This annual Christmas event is Caldwell's bright legacy to the Treasure Valley. Your participation, as spectator or exhibitor, is key to the success of this holiday extravaganza! Contact the Caldwell Chamber, 459-7493.
Buckaroo Bazaar & Buckaroo Breakfast: Annually, during Caldwell Night Rodeo Week! This year, Aug. 12-15, 6:30-9:30 a.m., on the CNR grounds. This 74th annual event will be dedicated to the memory of J.R. Simplot.
For only $5, come enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, orange juice and coffee prepared fresh each morning and enjoy entertainment, children's activites and country music from KIZN 92. listen to participants in the local Talent Contest. Visitors may also visit with rodeo cowboys, clowns and queens during the breakfast. Adjacent to the rodeo arena, under the big tent. Over 400 people per day were served in 2007!
In the afternoon, head over to the Caldwell Night Rodeo grounds to shop the Buckaroo Bazaar vendor booths, looking for that perfect hat or pair of boots.

The Local Legends Concert is an annual benefit event. This year, the proceeds were presented to the 10th Annual Idaho Youth Games being held June 19 -21 at various locations throughout Caldwell.
During this concert, various community leaders and local professionals (many Caldwell Chamber members) offer musical and comedic perfomances on stage at O’Connor Field House. You will recognize (hopefully) the pieces and their famous performers, and you may be challenged to figure out who are the local Caldwell/Canyon County stars acting out the parts! That's the point! And is it ever fun!

4th of July Celebration: Guess when? Caldwell Memorial Park. All day. Parade kicks off at 11:30.
Come enjoy a big celebration with a small-town atmosphere! Activities abound at the park including a car show, vendors, food, and fun for kids of all ages. Then comes the parade and it's famous "wet zone!" Very refreshing on a hot day, but if you don't like getting wet, be ready to dodge the cross-fire! The day culminates in an awe-inspiring fireworks display at Simplot Stadium.
